...Grey area? He killed a cop for looking into him in the FIRST episode. There's no grey area for him, he's an absolute piece of shit from the start.

The Shield is incredible, that's all. I'm finally watching season 4 of The Expanse as far as things go at the moment.

Justified season 1 is back and forth and season 5 is a pile of shit because Michael Rappaport is an atrocious villain, but other than that it is great.

Justified Season 1 redeemed itself once Boyd become involved in the plot again. Basically, if there's no Boyd it's good-ish and when there's Boyd it's great.

Finished The Expanse. Friend got Dark S3 on his Plex, but that show is too involved for me at the moment (plus, he got the sub version, so even more attention required).

I guess I'll give The Shield a go.
