Apparently IMDTv is streaming 3rd Rock from the Sun with ads. I watched it as a kid and it holds up really well. John Lithgow is over the top but great. Plus it crazy to see JGL as a small kid.

I'm mostly done with Season 2 of The Shield. I think I'm done with this show. I got through a lot of it just because it's a show you don't really have to pay attention to if you want to do something else while watching TV (or vice versa).

It's just not very good and the characters are all over the place and not likable at all. I'm just sitting there hoping every single character gets murdered. Maybe it gets better, but it's hard to see that happening because of how network drama-y it is while still being FX-defining edgy for the sake of it.

Not sure how I missed it but HBO is making the Last of Us? Not going to get my hopes up for quality since the game itself already tells an amazing story in a very compelling way, but guess we'll see.

What they really need to make is a show for Uncharted.

That weird. There really aren't many games that should/could be shows. Unless they're going to focus on different characters and just flesh out the world, I don't see any value in a TLOU show/movie. It's not that long and tells its own story perfectly.

Okay that’s enough Mr. Robot hype. After watching season 1 live and dropping it for reasons I don’t remember I’m going to have to download the full series and watch it ASAP.

They’re actually making an Uncharted movie with Tom Holland. Not sure what the status is with Covid, but he is confirmed for Nathan Drake which is interesting since he’s such a babyface

Yeah if anything I would have said make it a movie, but even that is pushing it. I don't know that they can tackle the same exact plot as well as they do in the game, so my guess is they make it more about zombies/the infection and other storylines to expand the universe.

Maybe they announce it will be a miniseries only or something but doubtful.

Wait, no shit on Uncharted? That's awesome, and I can even buy Holland as a young Drake because it let's them make more movies if needed. I just remember a few years ago when it was talked about and the voice actor for Drake was pissed he wouldn't be considered, which was hilarious.

But yeah I don't think HBO will do a bad job, it's just weird that Last of Us is one of the only really good, fun games I can remember where I didn't feel the need to see it as a show/movie.

Yeah, that is really discouraging.

They really missed the boat years ago by not getting it made with Nathan Fillion as Drake and JK Simmons as Sully.

Even now, they should have gone with someone like Woody Harrelson.

My Samsung Smart TV doesn't have the app for Peacock when I search for it. I have the same problem with Apple Tv app where I can't get it. This is some BS Samsung.

You're using outdated tech, even the most recent TVs are pretty dumb compared to basic streaming devices and Samsung has recently been known to be one of the worst.
