I had UNC on the moneyline which I was annoyed with at first but I also had some money on +4 which I'll count myself lucky on.

Very out of nowhere. No news on why yet, hope his health is okay. Always thought he might retire earlier than some of the others so it does make some sense but didn’t expect it this soon.

College game hasn't evolved since the 80s.

Maravich attempted like twice as many shots as players do now. He made as many FGs as players attempt today. He also attempted an absurd 14 FTs per game for a guard, which is more than most big men today.

It was a drastically different game back then and he was still incredibly good but usage is 99% of the reason.
