To bring up an earlier point, I am pretty sure 90% of the country wanted both the Lakers and Celtics to lose. But there was no given that if either sneaked into the finals, they could get hot and sneak a championship. It could be a gut punch if say the Celtics turn around their series and kick the Nuggets butt.

But obviously the Nuggets took care of business and the Heat should be able too.

I will always have my haterade for the Lakers, since I was in San Antonio for the early 2000's. It doesn't get that bad for the Celtics due to proximity, but I understand the sentiment.

Either Butler or Jokic will get their ring and that is the way it ought to be.

Again, catering to normies only dilutes EVERYTHING and we should want the opposite of whatever they want. Look at what happened when GoT writers started catering to “moms and NFL players” in their words instead of their devoted fanbase. People who only care about Lakers and Celtics are no different than the cretins who only care about Marvel movies at the expense of the rest of the box office.

Kinda dumb tbh. I get it that they have to account for 7 game series’ but they should be able to adjust it for these situations.

Bam will try but he has never really been able to before and the Nuggets have beaten them 6 times in a row. Really it just becomes about limiting what the two man game of him/Murray can do and trying to limit what KCP/Porter Jr give.
